Book:  Yousafzai, M., & Lamb, C. (2013). I am Malala: The girl who stood up for education and was shot by the Taliban. Little, Brown and Company.

Focusing on education for all the children. 42% of children cannot go to school in the world.

  • Around 61 million primary school-age children around the world aren’t in school. Poor kids often can’t go to school because they need to work to help their families survive.
  • Girls represent more than half — 53% — of out-of-school children. (Statistis from http://web.worldbank.org/)
