The Fulbright Association seeks applications to present the 2014 lecture under the Selma Jeanne Cohen Fund for International Scholarship on Dance. Guidelines and application information are available here. Applications must be received by May 31, 2014.
The Selma Jeanne Cohen Fund enables a dance scholar to present a major paper on previously unpublished research at the Fulbright Association’s annual conference. The 2014 lecture will be delivered during the 37th Annual Conference, October 16-18, 2014 in Washington, DC. The recipient of the Selma Jeanne Cohen Fund award will receive round-trip travel and associated expenses.
Applicants should submit applications by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note in the subject line:“Cohen Lecture Submission.”
The 2014 lecturer will be chosen according to guidelines that were developed with the late Dr. Selma Jeanne Cohen, dance historian and founding editor of the International Encyclopedia of Dance, whose generous endowment gift supports the lecture program. The competition is open to all dance scholars. For information on past Selma Jeanne Cohen Fund lecturers, please visit here.
