Let’s Celebrate International Education Week- November 16-20

International Education Week (IEW) is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to promote global educational programs and exchange experiences around the world. NJ Fulbrighters will celebrate IEW this year by attending free and online global education conference.

The Global Education Conference Network is a collaborative, inclusive, world-wide community initiative involving students, educators, and organizations at all levels.  This year’s sixth annual Global Education Conference is a free week-long online event bringing together educators and innovators from around the world. Conference will take place Monday, November 16 through Thursday, November 19, 2015.

Out collaborative session presentation is accepted and we will co-present our session called: Global Projects, Grants, & Resources for Edupreneurs – Melda N. Yildiz, Global Scholar, Edupreneur.

NJ Fulbrighters host Hour of Code Workshop- December 12

NJ Fulbrighters and Millburn FTC Robotics Club high school students provide an Hour of Code workshop at Millburn Public Library on December 12, 2015.

The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. One-hour tutorials are available in over 40 languages. No experience needed. Ages 4 to 104. The global event runs Dec 7-13.
